This is the Trauma Informed Preparation and Assessment for Kinship and Connected Carers. 

Who is the Trauma informed Parenting qualification for?

The Trauma-Informed Parenting Preparation Assessment for Kinship & Connected Care is for individuals who are being assessed to care for a child as a Kinship Carer, Connected Person or Special Guardianship Order (SGO), or those who are already providing kinship care.

This qualification is accredited by the awarding body CACHE, once completed, learners will receive a certificate from CACHE.

Course Length

Course Duration: 6 months.

Learners have support from a programme tutor and peer support for their studies through an online forum.


Please note: The qualifications are predominantly studied online through a learning platform; therefore, it is a prerequisite for applicants to be ICT/computer literate.
