Level 3 THERAPEUTIC
COACHING
Level 3 Award* & Level 3 Diploma in Therapeutic Parent Coaching
The customised qualifications for Therapeutic Parent Coaching will assist you in comprehending how to provide support to parents and families through the use of therapeutic parenting strategies and coaching tools/ Both the Award and Diploma equips participants with the skills to become effective coaches, providing comprehensive support to families and children dealing with parenting challenges.
By completing either the Award of Diploma in Therapeutic Parent Coaching, individuals can enhance their abilities in providing assistance to other parents in Therapeutic Parenting and in leading support groups. Once the program is finished, learners will be included in The Haven Parenting and Wellbeing Centre's recommended list of Therapeutic Parent Coaches.
Accreditation & Eligibility to join ACCPH
The Qualification is accredited by nationally recognised awarding body NCFE CACHE. It is also accredited by The Independent Professional Body and Register for Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH) have accredited both the Level 3 Award in Therapeutic Parent Coaching and The Level 3 Diploma in Therapeutic Parenting. This means on successful completion of the qualification you will be eligible to join their accredited association. To find out more about the association and joining fees click here.

*After completing the Therapeutic Parenting Programme or Advanced Therapeutic Parenting Diploma, learners can enrol in the Therapeutic Parenting Coach Award.
Aim
A customised qualification which helps the learner to understand the ways in which they can support parents and families using therapeutic parenting strategies.

Course Length:
150 guided learning hours over a 6 month – 12-month period.* Completing each unit within 6- 8 weeks.
Please note: The qualifications are predominantly studied online through a learning platform; therefore, it is a prerequisite for applicants to be ICT/computer literate.



Mode of Learning
Learners will complete the course through online learning platform, which comprises of video-based tuition and knowledge checks throughout, to enable learners to complete the end of unit assessments.
Learners will be provided with tutor support as well as peer supported learning through a forum where there is the opportunity to access online training and online assessment workshops to support their learning.
A handbook, including all relevant information, will also be provided at the start of the course.
