Level 3 Therapeutic Parenting Programme

Therapeutic Parenting Programme Duration: 10 months of study (approx. 4 hours per week of study online) Aim: This programme is aimed at parents who are new to Therapeutic Parenting and looking for a detailed insight into the subject. Parents will learn the core principles of Therapeutic Parenting in order to begin to develop a trusting relationship with their children. Parents will gain an underpinning knowledge of therapeutic parenting and will be able to implement strategies learnt from the programme in order to support their child into adulthood. The programme includes the following topics: - Understanding the Child. - Understanding Myself. - Understanding Therapeutic Parenting. - Understanding Disorders, Syndromes and Behaviours associated with Early Life Trauma. - Initial Therapeutic Parenting Strategies. - Advanced Therapeutic Parenting Strategies. The programme is mainly online, learners are also required to attend a Therapeutic Parenting support group regularly throughout the programme. In addition to this, learners have support from a programme facilitator and peer support for their studies through an online forum. On successful completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement from Inspire Training Group for the Therapeutic Parenting Programme. The contents of the Therapeutic Parenting Programme form part of the core units for the Diploma in Therapeutic Parenting, giving learners the option of completing 3 further units to obtain the Diploma in Therapeutic Parenting if they wish to continue their studies.
